Chris Young

Chris Young is a Financial Services Partner in KPMG's Technology Risk practice, bringing over twenty years of experience in technology risk across the United States, Ireland, South Africa, and Australia. In their role as the IT Assurance service line lead, Chris has national responsibility for IT External Audit and Attestation service lines in Australia, focusing on building high-performing teams. They lead a Sydney Technology Risk subgroup dedicated to Banking and Funds clients and engage in consulting for emerging technologies. Additionally, Chris contributes to KPMG’s global IT External Audit community as a reviewer of methodology changes and has previously co-led efforts for the Asia Pacific region. Chris is currently pursuing degrees in Information Systems, Information Security, and IT Auditing at the University of the Witwatersrand and the University of Johannesburg.
