Daniel Thomas

Daniel Thomas is currently an Associate Director at KPMG, a position they have held since 2021. Previously, they served as a Deputy Director of Covid-19 Domestic Policy at the Department for Transport (DfT) from 2020 to 2021, and were instrumental in leading the business case for Crossrail 2 and the economic case for HS2. Earlier in their career, Daniel held various roles as an Assistant Economist at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge and are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Economic Management and Policy at the University of Strathclyde, where they are expected to achieve a distinction.
