Ian Birch

Ian Birch is an economist in KPMG’s Infrastructure Advisory Group, specializing in economic and strategic case making, economic appraisal, and strategic funding advice across various sectors. They are motivated by the opportunity to contribute to initiatives that improve lives and support UK development. Prior to KPMG, Ian led Cebr's Infrastructure and Local Growth team for over three years and spent 11 years in senior roles at Transport for London, managing economic case making for major projects like Crossrail 2. Ian holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Arts in Transport Economics from the University of Leeds.
