Jon Silverman

Jon Silverman, Ph.D., serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Graduate Economics Program at the University of Maryland since March 2022. With a long-standing career at KPMG LLP from 1995 to the present, Jon held various positions including Retired Partner and Principal, leading economic and statistical consulting services with a focus on applied quantitative methods. As the National Lead of the Economic Services Segment and Western Area Service Line Leader for Economic and Valuation Services, Jon oversaw a team of over 100 professionals and managed numerous transfer pricing engagements. Earlier roles include Advisory positions at Quantum Sponsor and Senior Economist at DRI/McGraw Hill, as well as an Economist at the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Jon earned a Ph.D. in Economics from George Mason University and holds both BA and MA degrees in Economics from Boston University.
