Steve Weerts

Steve Weerts is an International Tax Principal at KPMG LLP in Los Angeles, focusing on the tax implications of cross-border deals and multi-jurisdictional transactions. With extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, supply-chain planning, and international restructuring, they lead complex projects across the Asia-Pacific, EMEA, and Americas regions. Previously, Steve held partner positions at DLA Piper and White & Case LLP, and served as a manager at KPMG. They have lectured for various tax and legal education providers and have taught a course on advanced international taxation as an adjunct professor at Loyola Law School. Steve holds a BS in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University.
