Bob Smeets

Bob Smeets is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in telecommunications and technology. Currently serving as Technical Lead for KPN Communication Services since August 2014, Bob focuses on devops for VoLTE, VoIP services, and messaging technologies, while also overseeing mobile resource orchestration. Previous roles include architecting KPN's Private NFV Cloud and Core Infra, financial coordination within KIVI, and leadership positions at Alcatel-Lucent involving system integration and customer demands. Bob began a career in telecommunications as a Software Engineer at AT&T after completing a Master's degree in Applied Physics at Delft University of Technology.
