Maarten van Gerner

Maarten van Gerner is currently the Manager of Client Assurance at KPN, a position they have held since 2020. They began their career as an IT Auditor at EY in 2007, where they progressed to Senior IT Auditor and Manager of IT Risk & Assurance, focusing on client relationships and staff development. Maarten completed an Executive Master in IT Auditing at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2011, producing a thesis on the value of third-party audits. With a solid foundation in auditing across various sectors, Maarten has gained diverse experience through internships in organizations such as Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and ING. Additionally, Maarten is a music enthusiast with a vast collection of vinyl, CDs, and tapes.
