Tom van Thiel

Tom van Thiel, CISM, is a seasoned professional in technical and commercial product management, particularly in security services, currently serving as the Technical/Commercial Product Manager for Security Services at KPN since April 2020. Tom has also initiated the TISLA initiative, creating a tool for assessing an organization's technical security landscape. Volunteer work includes involvement with Okuna, a privacy-focused social network. Previous roles include Chief Information Security Officer at Stichting Inlichtingenbureau, where Tom oversaw the security of sensitive data, and positions at ODIRIS Flexforce Group BV, Business to You, and Levade ICT, among others. Tom holds an MBA and BBA from Henley Business School, along with various technical and management certifications.
