Cielo Perez

Cielo Perez is a versatile and accomplished writer currently serving as a Contributing Writer for NYLON since December 2022, focusing on artist interviews and pop culture coverage, particularly in K-Pop and related entertainment. Additionally, Cielo writes and photographs concerts for KpopWise, showcasing talent and creating content around Korean culture. Prior experience includes supporting COVID-19 test kit distribution for the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health, assisting mature students at the University of Arizona's Humanities Seminars Program, and holding marketing and promotional roles at KAMP Student Radio. Cielo also interned in healthcare, nominated as an Outstanding Undergraduate Intern while providing translation services. Cielo holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Arizona and previous education at Pima Community College and Ironwood Ridge High School.
