Matthew Morales

Matthew Morales is a seasoned video content professional currently serving as the Video Content Development Manager at KQED since March 2023, where leadership of a team has resulted in the launch of "Throwback," a vertical video series utilizing KQED's 70-year video archive. Prior experience includes a role as Producer and Video Editor at The Verge and five years at Seeker Media as an Edit Producer, focusing on original content centered around science. Additional roles have included Social Video Producer/Editor at Discovery Digital Networks and various freelance positions encompassing video editing, motion graphics design, and assistant editing for feature films such as "Unleashed" and "Smile Again, Jenny Lee." Matthew holds a degree in Radio and Television, Audio Production from San Francisco State University.
