Peter Ruocco is an experienced teaching artist, videographer, and director with a diverse background in theatre and production. Between 2000 and 2018, Peter held various instructional roles at institutions such as The American Place Theatre, the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and California Shakespeare Theatre, focusing on acting techniques and arts education. As the owner of The Transmission Specialist, Peter has produced a range of video content for clients, including tech companies and arts organizations. Currently, Peter works as an On Call Producer for KQED, producing documentary pieces and episodes for KQED ARTS and KQED FOOD, while also serving as a cinematographer for the award-winning series Check, Please! Bay Area. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Alaska and a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Directing from the University of Hawaii.
