Danielle Dowler

Danielle Dowler, AICP, currently serves as the Product Communications Director at Kraken Technologies since January 2023, and as Content Director and Content Strategist at Octopus Energy since February 2021. Previous experience includes roles as an Independent Consultant specializing in content strategy, Urban Planner at AKRF, and Environmental Planner at Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, where expertise in environmental review processes under NEPA and SEQRA was developed. Danielle has also worked as a UX Researcher at AudioDrops and as a Planning Associate at Environmental Science Associates, where skills in technical writing and data analysis were honed. Early career experience involved positions as a Legal Administrative Assistant at Henn, Etzel and Moore Inc. and as a Graduate Intern at the New York City Economic Development Corporation. Education includes a Master of Science in Urban Planning from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science-International Relations and Urban Studies and Planning from UC San Diego.
