David Winterbottom

David Winterbottom is an experienced software engineering leader with a strong background in technical direction and programming. As the Head of Software Engineering at Kraken Technologies and Octopus Energy, David has demonstrated expertise in managing engineering teams and overseeing software development processes. Prior roles include Director of Engineering and Lead Platform Engineer at Yoyo Wallet, as well as Technical Director at Tangent Snowball and Head of Programming at Tangent Labs. David holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pattern Formation — Applied Mathematics from the University of Nottingham, earned between September 2002 and November 2005.
