Jesse Eilers

Jesse Eilers is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in blockchain and software development. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Kraken Digital Asset Exchange since July 2022, Jesse leads the Blockchain Platform and Crypto Onchain development, focusing on smart contracts and protocol development. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Engineering Manager at Ignite (formerly Tendermint), where Jesse oversaw the development of Emeris, implementing key features like Staking and Cross-chain Swaps. At IKEA, Jesse managed teams dedicated to recommendations and personalization, and at Booking.com, worked as an Engineering Manager and Software Development Leader across multiple teams in Amsterdam and Shanghai. Jesse began the career as a Full Stack Developer at HP, Telfort, and Deactro BV, and started as a Documentation Engineer at National Oilwell Varco. Jesse holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
