Thomas Perfumo

Thomas Perfumo, CFA, serves as Head of Strategy at Kraken Digital Asset Exchange since October 2017, having progressed through various roles including Head of Business Operations & Strategy and Manager of Research. Prior to joining Kraken, Thomas held the position of Long/Short Equity Analyst at Moore Capital Management from June 2012 to May 2017, where responsibilities included providing research coverage, building financial models, and presenting investment recommendations. Thomas also has a background as Director of the San Francisco Amateur Astronomers from January 2020 to January 2023. Earlier experiences include internships and analyst positions at Credit Suisse and Moore Capital Management, focusing on event-driven investment strategies. Thomas earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance & Mathematics from NYU Stern School of Business in 2014.
