Kai Chen

Kai Chen's work experience starts in 2013 as a Summer Analyst at the Bank of Canada. They then worked as a Summer Analyst II at the same company in 2014. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as an Associate at Berq Capital Inc., focusing on strategy and business development for early-stage green technology companies. In 2016, Kai worked as a Consultant at REUNION, specializing in strategy, M&A, and brand consulting. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Deloitte, first as a Business Technology Analyst and then as a Business Analyst in M&A. At Simon-Kucher & Partners, Kai held various roles from 2019 to 2023, starting as an Associate Consultant and progressing to Senior Consultant, Engagement Manager, and finally, Senior Engagement Manager. Currently, Kai works at True North Impact Investments as a Fund Manager. Recently, they have taken on the role of Director, Global Head of Analytics, Insights, & Transformation at Kramp.

Kai Chen completed a Master's Degree in International Business at the Ivey Business School at Western University from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Geography from Western University from 2011 to 2015. Chen completed their secondary education at Lisgar Collegiate Institute from 2007 to 2011, but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned in regards to this period.
