Prior to their current role, which began in July 2025, David served as the UK Head of Audit Quality & Technical at Azets, responsible for the delivery of consistent audits nationwide. Earlier, David held the position of Director of Assurance and Accounting at Mercia, where they provided technical advice and led the development of compliance products. Throughout their career, David has been a thought leader in quality management, actively contributing to numerous committees and authoring various professional guidance documents.
