Julia Porter

Julia Porter has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Julia currently holds the position of Schools Manager at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, which they started in December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Human Resources Specialist at Crispin Porter Bogusky from July 2022 to November 2022.

In 2019, Julia joined Brush Creek Ranch, where they held several roles including Director of Staddle Camp, Director of Activities, Senior Activities Manager, Senior Activities Coordinator, and Activities Guide. Their tenure at Brush Creek Ranch lasted from May 2019 to August 2022.

Before joining Brush Creek Ranch, they worked as a Field Marketing Representative at Field Scout from July 2018 to April 2021. Julia also gained experience in the hospitality industry, working at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Their roles at Four Seasons included In Room Dining Supervisor, Overnight Supervisor, and Concierge, from February 2017 to April 2019.

Prior to their hospitality positions, Julia worked as an Educator at lululemon athletica from December 2014 to April 2017. During their time there, they focused on educating customers about lululemon products and organizing community events.

Julia's earlier work experiences include roles as Front of House Staff at Mountain Standard from December 2013 to May 2016, and as a Junior Geologist/Administrative Assistant at Oak Creek Energy, LLC from January 2012 to January 2014. Julia also worked as a Professional Research Assistant at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center from January 2011 to January 2012, and as a Geological Technician at Aspen Energy, LLC from October 2008 to January 2012.

Julia Porter obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they attended from 2004 to 2009. Julia continued their studies in Microbiology and Molecular Biology at the University of Colorado Denver from 2010 to 2011. In 2015 to 2016, Julia pursued their studies in Psychology at Colorado Mountain College. Additionally, they hold certifications in Wilderness First Responder from NOLS Wilderness Medicine, obtained in November 2020, and in Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED from the American Red Cross, obtained in May 2019.
