In May 2002, Krista K opened in the lively Lakeview neighborhood. Located on the corner of Southport and Cornelia, the boutique was the first upscale women’s clothing store in this now thriving shopping area. From the start, Krista K has been recognized for offering a thoughtful mix of the brightest emerging designers and perennial favorites. In its first year of business, Krista K was named Chicago’s Best New Women’s Boutique by Chicago Magazine and was featured on ABC’s 190 North as one of Chicago’s top 3 Boutiques. Krista K has since been featured in InStyle, Women’s Wear Daily, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Cosmopolitan, Travel + Leisure, Crains, Time Out, the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Sun Times and more.
Today, Krista K’s top floor is devoted to elevated collections such as Ulla Johnson, Veronica Beard, Nili Lotan, Iro and rag & bone, shoes by Pedro Garcia and Coclico, the Jen Collection and Sydney Evan jewelry and Clare V, Jerome Dreyfus and Calleen Cordero handbags. Consistently recognized for its denim selection, Krista K fills the lower level with jeans and casual wear by Mother, Frame, AGOLDE, Aviator Nation,and ATM.
