Chris Richter is a seasoned professional in property tax consulting with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Managing Director at Kroll since January 2022, Chris specializes in property tax consulting for real and personal property. Prior to this, Chris held the position of Managing Director at Duff & Phelps' Specialty Property Tax Group since October 2007 and owned Rash & Associates, a boutique property tax consulting and compliance practice, from May 1992 to October 2007. In addition, Chris served as Vice President, directing the property tax practice focused on utilities, telecommunications, and power generation assets, and worked as an Appraiser at Cushman & Wakefield from 1989 to 1991. Earlier career experience includes serving as an Assessor at the Dallas Central Appraisal District from 1985 to 1989. Chris holds a BBA in Finance from Texas Christian University, where studies were completed from 1982 to 1985, and attended Plano Senior High School from 1980 to 1981.
