Eric Wedin

Eric Wedin, CFCE, GCFA, is an experienced professional in cybersecurity and digital forensics with a diverse background in law enforcement and incident response. Currently serving as Director of DFIR, Cyber & Data Resilience at Kroll since November 2023, Eric previously held the position of Senior Vice President at Pondurance, where responsibilities included conducting forensic investigations and providing actionable cybersecurity advice. Eric's career began with the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, where significant roles included Digital Forensics Incident Response and Detective in various units. Additionally, Eric has experience as a Patrol Officer and Corrections Deputy with the Punta Gorda Police Department and Sarasota County Sheriff's Office. Eric is pursuing a Bachelor's in Cybersecurity at St. Petersburg College and holds certifications in digital forensics.
