Dr.-Ing. Markus Friedrich is a technology and transformation leader with over 15 years of experience in digital platforms, product innovation, and R&D within industrial tech and mobility. Currently serving as the Head of Central Digital Functions at Krones AG, they lead global digital transformation strategies and manage a team focused on architecture, AI, and cybersecurity. Previously, at BMW Group and SYSKRON GmbH, Dr.-Ing. Friedrich drove significant transformation initiatives and enhanced digital manufacturing capabilities. They hold a Dr.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität München, where they graduated Magna Cum Laude.
