Miko Conrad

Miko Conrad is the engineering director at Kronologic. Prior to Kronologic, Miko was the director of engineering at Kronologic from July 2021 to March 2022. There, they collaborated with leads and architects to build productized time-negotiation natural language processing (NLP) AI backend platform with multiple interfaces and integrations. Miko also managed 4-5 team verticals simultaneously (core backend, core frontend, sustaining, integrations, and mobile) including recruiting, hiring, and retaining. Miko increased measured engineering team output by 300% in their first quarter after joining.

Miko has partnered with the product team to shape roadmap and timelines. Miko has also constructed a technical roadmap and followed progress throughout execution. Miko has rapidly scaled during high growth including adding and overhauling cross-functional processes. Miko has continuously balanced team resources to meet changing needs between new product development, maintaining and increasing quality, and hardening or future proofing the platform. Miko provides technical direction on scope, architecture, security, standards, and methodologies. Miko coordinates with product, marketing, and customer success teams to bring features to market. Miko aligns engineering priorities to executive priorities with C-Suite. Miko also spearheads compliance for GDPR/CCPA, and aids with Soc2, DPAs, and Privacy Policy. Lastly, Miko mentors junior to senior engineers and growing mentors with focus on growth and empathy.

Miko Conrad holds a Master of Science in IT Management from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science from Texas State University. They also hold certifications from Apple in Machine Learning Foundations and from Austin Community College in Applied Project Management.
