Serdar Torun has a diverse work experience. In 2013, they started their career as a Product Manager at EXIM Technology, Defence, Security Co. However, they later joined Turk Telekom as a Technical Product Specialist in September 2013. Serdar then worked at Architecht as a Senior Analyst from July to December 2019. Currently, they are employed at Krontech, initially joining as a Product Engineer in December 2019, and later promoted to the role of Product Management Team Lead in January 2021.

Serdar Torun completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2008 to 2012. Serdar then pursued a Master of Science degree in Applied Informatics at Istanbul Technical University from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, they had a brief period of study in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Southampton from 2010 to 2011. Prior to these higher education experiences, Serdar Torun attended Istanbul Erkek Lisesi from 2003 to 2008.
