Darryl Ng

Darryl Ng has several years of work experience in the creative industry. Darryl began their career as a Set Designer for Eternity Opera in 2017, where they pitched show stage designs, coordinated set construction and transportation, and ensured deadlines were met. In 2018, they worked as a Graphic Designer for the New Zealand Improv Festival, collaborating with the festival team on stylistic direction, creating digital and printed collaterals, and managing design changes and deadlines. From 2019 to 2022, Darryl served as an Art Director at DDB Aotearoa, contributing their creative skills to various projects. Currently, they work at krow group as an Intermediate Art Director.

Darryl Ng completed a post-graduate diploma in Creative Advertising at Media Design School from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts in Design and Applied Arts - Theatre at Victoria University of Wellington from 2017 to 2018. Darryl also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, focusing on Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Cinematography and Film/Video Production, both obtained from Victoria University of Wellington from 2014 to 2017.
