Cecilia Schultz

Cecilia Schultz is a Senior Researcher at Krutham, with experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Doctoral Student at the University of the Witwatersrand, where the doctoral thesis focused on the political economy of sovereign creditworthiness in South Africa from a governmentality perspective. Previous roles include Editor and Writer for the CAHF yearbook, Qualitative Researcher at the Economic Policy Research Institute, and Temporary Lecturer at North-West University, where various political science modules were taught. Additional academic involvement includes being a Visiting PhD Student at the University of Cambridge and serving in tutoring and research assistant positions at North-West University. Cecilia Schultz holds a Doctorate in Political Economy, a Master of Arts in International/Global Studies, an Honours in Political Science, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications.
