Brad Rainey has over 16 years of work experience, starting at the National Security Agency in 2004. Brad held various roles there including Computer Systems Researcher, Test Lead, Requirements Lead, Project Manager, and Team Lead. As a Project Manager at the National Security Agency, they optimized intelligence analyst workflows and deployed the latest generation of collaboration and infrastructure systems. Brad Rainey was also responsible for expanding communication channels between development, test, and integration organizations through bi-weekly sync meetings and regular presentations to senior leadership. In 2017, Brad Rainey joined Helm Point Solutions, where they worked as a Project Manager, overseeing development teams to refine idea generation, development, and release processes. Brad Rainey holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, which they obtained from 1999 to 2004. From 2004 to 2009, Rainey earned a Master of Science in Systems Engineering and Complex Systems Design from Stevens Institute of Technology. Later from 2013 to 2015, they completed a Master of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland. Additionally, Rainey obtained the (ISC)2 Security CISSP from (ISC)² in August 2020, as well as a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in March 2017.
