Paulo Daving has worked in the technology industry since 2010. Paulo began their career as a Digital IC Designer (Trainee) at the Center of Information Technology Renato Archer. In 2011, they moved to Freescale Semiconductor as a Digital Verification Engineer. In 2012, they joined the Eldorado Research Institute as a Digital Hardware Engineer. Later that same year, they began working at the National Institute for Space Research as a Hardware Designer. Paulo's role at the Institute included architecture definition and implementation of FPGA-based DSP systems, prototyping, testing and debugging of Software Defined Radio systems, description of high-speed AD/DA converter interfaces, porting IPs originally made for Xilinx into Altera FPGA devices, modeling and proof-of-concept of telecommand and telemetry satellite systems, research on FPGA technologies and hardware components, negotiation with foreign vendors, enrollment process on Xilinx/Altera University Programs, mentoring of graduate interns, and documentation activities. In 2018, they moved to Kryptus EED SA as an Embedded Software Engineer.
Paulo Daving obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications & Information Technology from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará in 2006 to 2009. Paulo then completed Complementary Studies in Foreign Languages at the British Culture House at Federal University of Ceará from 2002 to 2006. In 2010, they completed Advanced Studies in Microelectronics at the Center of Information Technology Renato Archer. Paulo also completed Advanced Studies in Encryption and Security on Data Communications at Universidade Estadual de Campinas in 2012. Lastly, they obtained a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the Federal University of Ceará in 2016 to 2018.
