Rafael Libardi

Rafael Libardi has held a variety of roles in the tech and security industries since 2012. In 2012, they obtained their MSc in Computer Science from the University of São Paulo, where they also conducted undergraduate research in Natural Interaction. In 2014, they were an Academic Visitor at the University of Leicester, where they worked on multi cloud selection mechanisms as part of their MSc project. In 2015, they co-founded and became CEO of UkkoBox, a cybersecurity startup. In 2016, they were an alumni of the Cyber London cyber security accelerator. In 2017, they were a Leader in Innovation Fellow at the Royal Academy of Engineering and a Security Consultant at Kryptus EED SA. In 2017, they were also an alumni of the United Kingdom Trade & Investment Global Entrepreneur Programme. In 2019, they were a Global Entrepreneur at Singularity University's GSP 19. In 2020, they became a NEXT.AI Founder Alumni and won the Most Ambitious Startup Award. Currently, they are the Founder & Executive Director of NoLeak Defense, a company that helps governments and companies detect and prevent crimes and identify criminals.

Rafael Libardi has a diverse educational background. Rafael began their studies in 2009, earning a Bachelor of Information Systems from USP - Universidade de São Paulo in 2012. Rafael then went on to receive a Santander Scholarship from Universidade do Algarve in 2011-2012. In 2013-2015, they earned an Ms. in Computer Science, Grade A (Max) from USP - Universidade de São Paulo in Modelagem de Dados/Armazenagem e Administração de Base de Dados. Rafael also served as an Invited Researcher at University of Leicester from 2014-2015 in the field of Information Security. In addition to their formal education, Libardi has obtained several certifications, including NVIDIA AI Expert (2022), Deep Discovery Advanced Threat Detection 1.0 Certified Professional (2018), Duolingo English Fluency Level: Proficient (2016), MCP: Microsoft Certified Professional (2012), and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuring (date not specified).
