Roberto Gallo

Roberto Gallo has held a variety of roles in the security and defense industries since 2003. Roberto began their career as the CEO/Chief Scientist at KRYPTUS Segurança da Informação S/A. In 2016, they were appointed Director at Federação das Indústrias do Estado de São Paulo - FIESP. In 2017, they became an Advisor at TRUSTLESS.AI, a Membro do Conselho Deliberativo ABES at ABES Assoc Brasileira Empresas de Software, and an Associate Professor at Escuela Superior de Guerra de Colombia. In 2018, they were appointed Coordenador Geral of COMCIBER - Comitê de Cibernética da ABIMDE. In 2019, they were appointed President of ABIMDE - Associação Brasileira das Indústrias de Materiais de Defesa e Segurança. In 2021, they became a Membro Comissão de Transparência das Eleições at Tribunal Superior Eleitoral, and a Membro Câmara de Segurança e Direitos na Internet (CGI.br) at Brazilian Internet Steering Committee/CGI.br. Roberto has also held the role of PosDoc researcher at Universidade Estadual de Campinas since 2012.

Roberto Gallo's education history includes a Post-Doc Research Fellowship at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas from 2013 to 2014, where they studied Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. Prior to this, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the same university between 2004 and 2012, specializing in Trusted computing, secure system architecture, and data security.
