Helge Eide started in KS in January 2010. He has previously been deputy mayor in Skedsmo municipality and senior adviser to KrF's parliamentary group. He has been state secretary in both the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
Eide has been a representative in Bergen city council and in Skedsmo municipal council from 1995. He has also held leading positions in Norges Bank. Helge Eide has a degree in economics from the Norwegian School of Economics.
