Devan Karp

Devan Karp is a reporter at KSAT, having joined the team in July 2024. Previously, Karp worked as a multimedia journalist at KOAA5 from June 2022 to June 2024. Karp's experience includes serving as the executive producer of Newswave, a student-run news broadcast at Trinity University, from August 2019 to June 2022, where responsibilities encompassed script creation, reporter assignments, and show direction. Additional roles include special project manager and package director at Tiger TV, a news intern at KSAT, and a fellow on the Voices Investigative team with the Asian American Journalists Association. Karp also interned with the San Antonio Symphony in marketing, assisting with social media management and event hosting. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Trinity University (2018-2022) and a high school diploma from Kingwood High School (2014-2018).
