Chris Johnson's work experience includes:

- Senior Software Engineer at KSOC starting in June 2023 (ongoing)

- Staff Software Developer at CircleCI from May 2020 to May 2023. In this role, Chris was the technical lead in a globally distributed team, transforming a highly scalable distributed system into a single installable application for customers who prefer to manage their own CI/CD system. Chris used Kubernetes, Terraform, and other trendy technologies.

- Principal Software Developer at GasBuddy from August 2014 to April 2020. Chris led the server-side development team, focusing on API development to support the GasBuddy App. Chris also initiated and led the effort to improve the authentication system by migrating the legacy API to a new in-house solution.

- Junior Software Developer at CRL Engineering for a 4-month co-op work term in 2013. Chris worked on the TransitLive website, providing real-time bus location and route information to users. Chris performed full-stack developer duties using LAMP stack technologies.

- Software Developer at BlackBerry from September 2012 to December 2012.

Chris Johnson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Regina, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. In addition, they received a certification in AWS Technical Essentials from Global Knowledge in December 2016.
