KSX is a strategic communications firm specializing in high-stakes messaging, crisis management, and media strategy for companies, public figures, and nonprofits operating in complex environments.

Our clients come to us to solve problems. Some want to better define their organizations, heighten their profiles, or shape their reputations. Others have a cause to advance, a crisis to contain, or negative media coverage to manage. Some can’t get coverage at all.

Our clients include companies, major cultural institutions, technology startups, school districts and education organizations, hospitals, colleges and universities, and advocacy groups. We’ve worked with startups seeking national visibility, companies looking to grow their businesses, nonprofits raising awareness of their work, advocacy groups fighting for a cause, and executives requiring counsel during crises.

Our crisis management practice is defined by our ability to act strategically under pressure, drawing on our deep experience in rapid-response journalism and executive-level advisory roles. Our expertise operating in high-stakes media environments reflects the background of our founding partner and CEO, Andrew Kirtzman, who was for years one of New York’s best-known political reporters, a multiple Emmy award-winner who covered political campaigns for print and television, and who interviewed hundreds of elected officials as host of two of New York's most widely-watched television political shows. He was also a senior advisor in the Bloomberg administration, and has run strategic and crisis communications at a senior level at several New York communications firms.

His background in media and government informs the KSX team’s aggressive approach to communications. We believe there's only one thing better than waging a smart campaign: winning it.
