Young Hoon Moon

Young Hoon Moon is an experienced professional in network security, currently serving as a Project Manager Team Lead and Senior Manager at KT since September 2004, with expertise in network security control, malware detection through honeynet development, and DDoS attack mitigation. Previously, Young Hoon Moon worked as a Project Manager at the Rwanda Development Board's ICT Department from April 2013 to April 2016, overseeing key projects such as the establishment of a Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). Early career experience includes roles at Samsung SDS as an Assistant Manager and at the ROK Air Force as a First Lieutenant, focusing on telecommunications security. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Emory University's Goizueta Business School, a Ph.D. in Security Engineering from Korea University, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a BS in Telecommunication and Information Engineering from Korea Aerospace University.
