Youngdong Cha

Youngdong Cha is an experienced engineer specializing in advanced technologies such as 5G, robotics, and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as a 책임연구원 at KT since December 2019, Youngdong Cha focuses on the transformative potential of these technologies. Prior to this role, a tenure at Hanwha Corporation as a Development Engineer involved leading projects related to collaborative robots and developing software algorithms for robotic peripherals. Additionally, experience at Samsung as a Research Engineer included defect detection and classification in OLED and cellular surface inspection using convolutional neural networks. Earlier, Youngdong Cha contributed to the development of FPD and LCD measurement systems at SNUPrecision, where responsibilities included improving measurement accuracy and providing comprehensive support and training for customers. Youngdong Cha holds a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Dong-A University.
