René Pottmann is currently the Global Industry Manager for Oil & Gas at KTR Systems GmbH, having previously served as a Senior Area Sales Manager at the same company from 2012 to 2022. With over 20 years of experience in drive technology, René has successfully managed a variety of projects from consultation to completion, particularly in the pumps and compressors sector, which continues to grow in significance. René began their educational journey at Carl-Severing-Kollegschule Bielefeld, where they earned a degree in Manufacturing Engineering. Prior to KTR, René worked in sales at Stromag from 2004 to 2012.
