Ricky Chan

Ricky Chan is an experienced reporter and producer at KTSF since August 2010, specializing in local news coverage through interviews, press conferences, and research, with a focus on creating daily video news reports and weekend newscasts. Ricky received the 16th Annual Outstanding Chinese Media Award from NCCMA for the coverage of the San Francisco Howth Street Homicide in 2012 and was nominated for the feature "Don't Worry, Be Appy!" in the same year. Prior experience includes serving as a production assistant and camera operator, where strong multitasking and teamwork skills were developed. Ricky holds a Bachelor of Science in Radio, Television and Film from San Jose State University and an Associate of Arts in Film and Television from De Anza College.
