Caiden Dinkins

Caiden Dinkins is a native of Charleston, South Carolina, who has developed a passion for meteorology influenced by severe weather experiences in the Lowcountry. A graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Caiden is currently the Chief Meteorologist at KTXS, having previously served as Morning Meteorologist and garnered two TAB awards for "Best Weather Anchor." Caiden is pursuing certification in Broadcast Operational Meteorology through Mississippi State University, expected by 2026, and has accumulated nine years of journalism experience through various roles, including leadership in the Gamecock American Meteorological Society Student Chapter. Outside of work, Caiden enjoys spending time outdoors with a dog named Walter.
