Lake Dai

Lake Dai is the Founder and Managing Partner of Sancus Ventures, an investment firm focused on enterprise software infrastructure and emerging technologies, with experience spanning over several economic cycles. As an Adjunct Professor in Applied AI at Carnegie Mellon University, Lake teaches AI-related courses and serves on the Advisory Board of CMU TECH. Additional roles include Co-founder and Vice Chair of Benevolent AI Future, Board Member at Kubit, and Faculty for the Stanford Women on Boards program. Lake has held leadership positions such as Chairwoman & President of HYSTA and Advisory Board Member at WITI. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California and ongoing studies in Computer Science at Stanford University.
