Ed Addario

Ed Addario is a seasoned technologist with a career spanning over three decades, beginning with an early fascination for technology sparked by unboxing a TRS-80 at age 11. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Kuda, Ed is dedicated to advancing the mission of banking every African on the planet. Previously, they co-founded Navro, a fintech platform enhancing cross-border payments for SMEs, and held critical roles as CTO at several organizations, including Salary Finance and Currencycloud. As a member of the IEEE and ACM, Ed contributed to the development of ISO/IEEE standards and actively engages in open-source projects related to AI, cryptography, and high-performance computation. Ed's journey reflects a commitment to leveraging technology for meaningful empowerment across the globe.
