Prior experience includes a five-year tenure at the Bureau of Land Management as a Firefighter Type 1, where Taylor gained extensive knowledge in land management and leadership through roles as Incident Commander on wildland fires. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Wildlife Biology from West Texas A&M University, earned between August 2015 and May 2019.
