Natalie Newcomb

Natalie Newcomb is an experienced media professional with a strong background in broadcasting and journalism. Newcomb served as a Morning Edition Producer and Weekend Edition Announcer at KUOW Public Radio from January to June 2024. Prior experience includes reporting for the Life section at The Daily Evergreen, assisting in the production of morning newscasts at Northwest Public Broadcasting, and serving as an On-Air Announcer, Music Director, and General Manager at KUGR College Radio. Additionally, Newcomb has held roles as a Student Station Operations Manager at 889 The Bridge and as a Camera Operator for Cougar Vision at Washington State University. An educational background in Communication with a focus on Broadcast Journalism was achieved at Washington State University, following completion of high school at Mercer Island High School. Newcomb also participated in a high school internship at KUOW RadioActive, where podcasts were created and students were mentored in podcast production.
