Bob Rogers

Bob Rogers has been in the medical device industry for over 40 years. His industry experience has provided him with a foundation from which he has developed several innovative devices. Specifically, Mr. Rogers is recognized as one of the founders of the luer-activated valve industry estimated to exceed annual sales of $1.2 billion worldwide and the disinfection cap market estimated to exceed $1 billion annually. As the CEO of Ivera Medical from 2007-2015, Rogers led the creation of an entirely new market space with the development of the Curos disinfecting cap product line, an innovation that was acquired by 3M Corporation in early 2015.

Rogers has a keen eye for identifying opportunities and developing elegantly simple designs to address pervasive healthcare issues. His patented ideas have founded several companies including Ivera Medical, Bridge Medical and Mission Medical Devices. He has held executive management positions with PPG (Sensors Division), Bridge Medical, CardioNet and Ivera Medical. Rogers is a holder of 31 patents with several more pending. Rogers was awarded 2014 Healthcare Entrepreneur of the Year by the San Diego Business Journal. He holds a B.S. degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
