A hand-made rug is a unique synthesis of artistic expression and utility. It can be the focal point of a design scheme, or the anchor that draws a room together. In a world increasingly geared towards a disposable mentality a rug will endure, growing more beautiful as the years tumble by. Owners Rebecca and Brian travel the world focusing on hand-spun wool and resilient dyes in modern area rugs, traditional oriental carpets and textiles. Kush creates custom designs, sizes, weaves, and textures to fit the most challenging spaces.

A retail sponsor of GoodWeave, Kush supports fair trade practices through numerous avenues. We deeply value the cultural and historical context of this ancient art form, as well as how our business impacts lives all over the world, every day. Clients can be comfortable knowing their carpet was crafted by an adult artisan paid a living wage working in a safe environment.
