Thomas Kutschi is the founder of kutschi.consulting, a project management and consulting firm based in Vienna, Austria. Prior to starting their own company, Kutschi spent over 20 years in various leadership roles in the Austrian and German consulting industry.
Kutschi began their career in 1994 as a knowledge manager at INFONOVA. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing knowledge management strategies for the company. Thomas left INFONOVA in 1999 to join KPMG InfoDesign as a leader in their project management delivery unit. At KPMG, Kutschi established project management and multi-project management business processes and served as an escalation point for projects. Thomas also guided and developed project managers. During their four years at KPMG, Kutschi was responsible for the successful implementation of a content management system for a large Austrian logistics and distribution company.
In 2004, Kutschi left KPMG to join BearingPoint as their Head of Alliances for Solutions. In this role, they were responsible for defining and implementing the Alliance Partner Program and contract framework for system integrators. Kutschi spent 14 years at BearingPoint before leaving to start their own company in 2018.
Today, kutschi.consulting provides project management consulting services to clients in a variety of industries. The company has successfully completed projects for clients such as BMW, Daimler, Siemens, and Raiffeisen Bank.
Thomas Kutschi's educational career includes a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The Open University Business School with a focus in financial strategy and marketing. Thomas also has a Change Leadership Certificate from Cornell University and a Strategic Alliances: Creating Growth Opportunities certification from The Wharton School. In addition, Thomas Kutschi is certified by LinkedIn in Designing Growth Strategies.
