Daan Grooten

Daan Grooten has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Daan founded Kuuma in 2020 and worked as an Entrepreneur at Antler earlier that year. Prior to that, they held several positions at Qurrent from 2011 to 2019, including Head of Innovation & Business Development, Innovation & Business Development Manager, and Product Manager. Daan also worked as a Business Development professional at The Sustainables in 2011 and as a Project Assistant at Tendris from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, Daan initiated the Dutch Youth Kopenhagen Coalition to UNFCCC in 2009 and conducted a Feasibility Study on sustainable waste management at Breede River Winelands Municipality in 2008.

Daan Grooten obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration from Avans University of Applied Sciences from 2005 to 2009. In 2017, they also obtained a certification in Professional Scrum Product Owner 1 from Scrum.org.
