Morten Kjaergaard is a tenured Associate Professor at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, where Morten directs the Superconducting Quantum Information & Devices Lab, focusing on the intersection of quantum information physics, superconducting quantum devices, and experimental quantum computing. Kjaergaard also serves as a Senior Scientific Expert at Kvantify. Previous experience includes a postdoctoral research role at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where work centered on high-fidelity quantum operations and small quantum algorithms, as well as a postdoctoral position at the University of Copenhagen, focusing on Majorana zero modes and hybrid semiconductor/superconductor materials. Kjaergaard holds a PhD in Experimental Quantum Physics and has conducted research as a visiting fellow at Harvard University.
