Riivo Piibe - CEO & Founder of Kvantis OÜ
My journey into the world of web development started somewhere around 2021-2022, almost by accident. I was staying at a friend’s place for a while due to an emergency, and he asked me to take a look at his website to see if I could fix a few things. One thing led to another, and instead of just fixing a few bugs, I ended up building him a completely new WordPress site.
Not long after that, another friend came to me with a similar request, and that’s how it all started. What began as helping out a couple of friends quickly grew into a passion and eventually, into a business.
Before Kvantis, I was already deep into programming. I studied programming at the University of Tartu but quickly realized that formal education wasn’t my path. It wasn’t that programming wasn’t for me, it was that the university system wasn’t. So I dropped out after the first course, got a job, and started learning on my own by doing every project I could find.
Over the years, I completed more than 100 projects, constantly learning and improving my skills. Then the website story happened, and that shifted my focus fully to web development. A few years later, after working regular jobs and gathering experience, I decided it was time to go all in on my own.
That’s when Kvantis was born at the start of 2025. Before that, I worked with clients under my own name, but I wanted to build something bigger, something that could grow beyond me.
When ChatGPT came out, I quickly saw its potential. I became an early adopter, using it to accelerate development, automate repetitive work, and even build systems that could do hours of work with a single click. At one point, I fully automated a company’s blog-post creation and publishing process, turning a 4-hour manual task into something that happened in seconds.
That experience sparked my obsession with automation and AI integration. I started merging everything I knew: web development, SEO, automations, AI, and integrations into one skill set. It’s that mix that defines what Kvantis does today.
My goal is simple: to keep building Kvantis into a strong, reliable, and innovative digital agency while also expanding into buying, improving, and reselling underperforming websites and e-commerce stores. I want to turn everything I’ve learned, all the code, all the automation, all the lessons into something much bigger than myself.
Kvantis represents that idea: practical IT solutions that actually work, made by people who care about results, not buzzwords.
