Sólrún has always been interested in improving the usability of products. This led their to their work as an Intern at Össur, where they focused on the ergonomic ability of the company’s products. During their time there, they administered a research project about improving the usability of the company’s products and composed a guideline for the company to maximize the ergonomic ability of their products.

Sólrún’s experience as an Intern in the R&D department at Össur led their to their current position as a Product Manager at Kvikna. In their current role, they are responsible for managing the development and launch of new products.

Sólrún Stefánsdóttir has a MS in Project Management from Lancaster University, a MS in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from KU Leuven, and a BS in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Reykjavik University. Sólrún Stefánsdóttir is certified from the Association for Project Management (APM) Student, LinkedIn in Developing Your Emotional Intelligence, Managing Globally, and Dale Carnegie Ísland in Dale Carnegie Next Generation.
